Netflix's Our Planet 2 nominated for 2023 Televisual Bulldog Award in the music category

Voting is heating up for the 19th annual Televisual Bulldog Awards that celebrates the very best of British television.

This year composers Jasha Klebe and Thomas Farnon scored the music for Netflix’s Our Planet II, the new 4-part series from Silverback Films that follows billions of animals across the globe as they make astonishing seasonal migration journeys amid the dangers of climate change. It follows the phenomenal success of Our Planet which has seen more than 100 million households tune in since its release in April 2019, and has over 570 million viewing hours to-date.

Last week the series was nominated for a 2023 Televisual Bulldog Award in the music category.

The awards are decided by an industry-wide vote and you can head to televisual-bulldogs.com to have your say.

Each episode represents three months of the Earth’s orbit, highlighting major animal gatherings and events to showcase the mind-boggling diversity of the animal kingdom as well as rare and never-before-seen moments of animal behaviour that will astound even the most avid viewer of nature documentaries. Eye-popping drone shots of stampeding herds crossing vast savannahs mix with revolutionary low-light camera work in the darkest depths of the rainforest; stunning underwater footage shows aquatic creatures swimming in patterns as magnificent as the flocks of birds that soar through our skies.
